Description

The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is looking for volunteers from August 12-13 to help deliver a 2-day summer event featuring talks and panels from world-renowned palaeontologists and fun activities for the whole family. Palaeo Palooza will be hosted at the museum in Wembley, AB, with fun activities outside on the grounds and talks held in our theatre. Volunteers will be responsible for assisting with family-friendly stations on the museum grounds, as well as set-up and take-down for the event.

Find more information about Palaeo Palooza here: https://dinomuseum.ca/palaeo-palooza

This is a great opportunity for people who love working with people of all ages and have a passion for or interest in dinosaurs. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to attend talks and panel discussions from visiting palaeontologists and learn more about prehistoric life in Alberta and beyond.

If interested, please contact the Programs Manager, Dallal Olver, at programsmanager@dinomuseum.ca.

Training Details

Volunteers will be contacted ahead of time with a full schedule and description of their role for the weekend. Volunteers will meet with an event coordinator prior to the event.
