Description
We are looking for someone interested in helping us grow our events sponsorship base.
The right person will love connecting with community leaders and enjoy providing them with great opportunities to support our youth, seniors and veterans not mention honour our killed in action soldiers and their silver cross families.
Some events require more support than others, and other events require almost none.
Because most of this work can be done from home this is ideal for that person who has time on their hands.
We would even consider an incentive program to make it rewarding financially as well.
We are a host location for International Museums Day, and we host the following events of our own:
- Canadian Forces Day Pancake Breakfast - June 4th (Always the first Sunday in June)
- Indigenous Peoples Day Drive - Ride - Cruise in event - June 21st
- Christmas in July - Sunday July 23rd - Always the closest Sunday to the 24th
- August Surf & Turf Drive In - Ride In - Cruise In - August 11th
- Commemoration Event - Sept 8-9-10 - always the second weekend of September
- Truth & Reconciliation Day - Pancake Breakfast and Commemoration Ceremony
- Halloween in the Gardens - October 29th - Last Sunday of October
- Indigenous Veterans Day - November 8th - ALWAYS November 8th
- Dutch Liberation Candle Light Vigil - Dec 24th - ALWAYS Dec 24th
- Market in Hillside - May 18 - Sept 28 every Thursday from 3:30 - 7:30 PM

Training Details
You will work with the executive director to create your action plan and then you will execute said plan.
You will work in Monday.com for Fundraising and all CRM needs.
Training is offered through the platform - your seat is provided.
You will work in the Google for nonprofits environment and will be provided with a log in and email of your own for the association.
Google provides a wide array of training opportunities.
