Court Accompaniment
Advocates provide accompaniment, with clients to court. Advocates also attend court with victims of crime to provide support during preliminary hearings, trials, and sentencing.
Requirements:
➢ +18
➢ Possess a valid Driver’s License
➢ Pass a Child Welfare Check
➢ Obtain an Enhanced RCMP Security Clearance
➢ Sign a Confidentiality Agreement
➢ Pass on-line Solicitor General Training
➢ Able to commit to a one-year term
➢ Able to provide support during daytime working hours
