Nominations are now open for the Volunteer of the Year Awards!
Has someone you know shown remarkable compassion and commitment to our community? It’s time to acknowledge their outstanding efforts! This prestigious award is your chance to highlight an individual who has made a significant impact through volunteerism in the Grande Prairie region in the last twelve months (November 2022 through October 2023). Nominate them for the 2023 Volunteer of the Year Award!

Is there a company that’s made a profound mark on local non-profit organizations? We’re giving a standing ovation to one corporate hero who seamlessly woven volunteerism into their work culture in the Grande Prairie region in the last twelve months (November 2022 through October 2023). Whether it’s through their staff’s dedication or impactful policies, this company is a true community champion. Self-nominations are welcome! Nominate them for the Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award.

Nomination Guidelines
- Anyone over the age of 18 whose volunteer efforts have played a significant role during the last twelve months in the Grande Prairie area is eligible.
- The contribution(s) for which the nominee receives nomination for must have occurred through November 2022 – October 2023.
- Nominations cannot be submitted without the permission of the nominee.
- If more than one nomination is submitted for the same nominee, all the information received will be considered as one submission.
- Nomination form must be completely filled out and submitted on or before nomination deadline.
- By signing the nomination form, each nominator and nominee: Agree to abide by the guidelines that govern the Volunteer of the Year Award; Consents to participating in the awards program and in the nomination process; Consents to having photographs taken for award-related publicity purposes; & Consents to the use of the winner’s name, photograph & nomination material in any awards-related publicity carried out by the Association.
- The decisions of the selection committee are final.
- Nominations (including all supporting materials) become the property of the Association and will not be returned. the Association takes no responsibility for incomplete, inaccurate, lost or late nominations
- Any company that has provided volunteer hours and/or encouraged and supported volunteer efforts by their employees (by informal or formal policy) and/or other means of support (equipment, facilities.) that have made a significant impact during the last twelve months in the Grande Prairie area is eligible.
- The contribution(s) for which the Business receives nomination for must have occurred through November 2022 – October 2023.
- Nominations cannot be submitted without the permission of the Business.
- If more than one nomination is submitted for the same Business, all the information received will be considered as one submission.
- Nomination form must be completely filled out and submitted on or before nomination deadline.
