Helpful tips to make document shredding a breeze
1) Determine what will need to be shredded
- Does the document contain PII (Personally Identifiable Information)?
- Names
- Birth Dates
- Addresses
- Phone Numbers
- Email Addresses
- Keep records that you need for either reference or legal purposes and shred everything else!
2) How Much Do You Have?
- Determine how many boxes you need and what size of transportation you require to move your documents.
3) Prepare Your Documents
- Paper items need to be removed from Binders, Binding Coils from Notebooks, and Binder Clips need to be removed. You do not need to remove: Small Paper Clips, Staples and Rubber Bands
The staff and board of the Association would like to thank Prairie Disposal Ltd. for continuing to partner with us for this event.
