The Grande Prairie Branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society nominates Gail Schau for Volunteers of the Week. They wrote ‘Gail has been a member of the Branch for the past 23 years and has a keen interest in genealogy. Since joining the Branch, Gail has been a faithful attendee at our meetings and has participated in all activities. Gail can be counted on to candidly share her ideas and opinions.  These opinions have been instrumental in helping to further the goals and ideals of the Branch. For the past 18 years, Gail has been the liaison person with the Peace Library System. In that role, she has been responsible to order books regarding genealogical matters; collate and bring the books into the library system; order and receive magazines dealing with genealogy; place them in the library; sort out subscriptions and deal with donation of books. Thank you Gail.’
